- Leiper House
The Annual Holiday Open House at the Thomas Leiper House will take place 1-6 p.m. on Sunday Dec.12. The house has been beautifully decorated for the holiday season by six area garden clubs, each taking a different room.
Refreshments will be served, including birthday cake honoring Leiper’s Dec. 15, 1745 birthday.
This event is free, although donations for continuing upkeep of this National Register of Historic Places’ house are always welcome.
The house will also be open to the public on Saturday, Dec. 11, and Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 18 and 19 during regular weekend hours of 1-4 p.m.
The Leiper House is at located 521 Avondale Rd., Wallingford.
