Sales of Wallingford PA homes decreased slightly in the 3rd quarter of 2012 when compared to the same period of last year – 42 this year versus 45 in the 2nd Quarter of 2011.
These results signal the end of a string of quarterly increases in sales stretching back to last year. It was not a particularly good quarter in terms of average price, and Days on Market as well.
Condominium and townhouse prices averaged $152,750, while single family homes averaged $284,038.
The average price of all Wallingford PA homes sold for the period of July through September, showed a dip of 6.9% over last year. Days On Market increased – from 83 last year to 118 this year.
There were 19 Wallingford PA homes sold in July 2012, 15 in August 2012, and 8 sold in September 2012, wrapping up the quarter.
Home prices ranged from a low of $31,000 to a high mark of $600,000 for the quarter.
