For the 4th consecuitive month the average selling price of Wallingford PA homes fell in comparison to last year. The April decline of 12.9% was the smallest decrease this year coming on the heels of a 33.57% decrease in March, 26.6% decrease in February, and 31.7% in January. As prices have decreased more homes are selling – April saw an increase of 5 units over April 2013, 19 homes sold this year as compared with 14 homes sold last year.
For the core category of single family detached homes the average price price of the 15 singles sold in April dropped to $377,517 from $423,373 last April, a 10.8% drop, despite 2 new construction sales during the month. Pending sales activity continued to grow with 24 homes going under contract during the month.
