July 2014 with 22 sales closes as the busiest July since the market peaked in 2007 – there were 26 homes sold that July. This continues the streak of 7 straight months where sales have exceeded the previous year. However as with 6 of the last 7 months of 2014 the average selling price has failed to be in positive territory when compared to the same month in 2013 – May 2014 stands as the sole month when average prices where higher than the corresponding month last year.
