The Delaware County Council has approved a proposed 2015 budget of $337 million which maintains the real estate tax millage at 5.604 mills, thus averting a tax increase for the first time since 2011.
Delaware County taxes were raised 2.8% in 2014.
In practical terms this means that the County tax will be $5.604 for every $1,000 of assessed value. For example the County tax bill for a home assessed at $100,000 would be $560.40.
