The Strawberries Are Coming – Monday June 1, 2015
The always popular Strawberry Festival sponsored by the Wallingford Presbyterian Church will be held on Monday June 1, 2015, from 5:00-8:00 PM. Mark the date on your calendar and join the over 1,000 people who enjoy this much anticipated annual community event.
At the center of the festival are strawberries – plain or with sugar or chocolate coated, cake, ice cream and chocolate covered, hoagies, hot dogs, delicious roast beef – prepared by yours truly, and potato salad. There is a Book Nook to provide great buys in slightly used books and Attic Treasures for those seeking the perfect item to add to their collection.
There will be games and activities for children, and plants to brighten your garden will also be available for sale.
