Traditionally June has the highest volume of transactions during any given year and this August even surpassed June’s 5 year average of 33 settlements. Many homes often sold with multiple offers, and 20 homes sold in 7 days or less.
The average sales price came in at $361,761 representing a 10.4% decrease compared to last year. The 36 sales were comprised of 24 single family homes, 6 townhomes, 4 condos, and 2 twin homes.
Eighteen single family homes sold for an average price of $493,389 and averaged 40 days on the market. Last July 17 single family homes sold for an average price of $441,147 with an average of 41 days on the market.
The highest selling price for the month was $820,000 for 910 Winding Lane.
