October was a scary month for home sales in Wallingford PA. A total of 11 sales were recorded for the month which represents a 5 home decrease over last year. The average selling price declined 24.2% when compared to last year averaging $221,364. October sales consisted of 4 single family homes, 4 condos, 2 row homes, and 1 twin home. A total of $2,435,000 real estate changed hands during the month.

October’s 4 single family homes sold for an average price of $385,625 and averaged 30 days on the market. Last October 10 single family homes sold for an average price of $375,690 and spent an average of 68 days on the market. This is a 2.6% increase in the average selling price for singles.

832 Surrey Lane had the highest selling price for the month at $450,000.

For the year to date through October the number of closed transactions stands at 195 vs 185 for the same time period last year. The average selling price for the first 10 months of this year stands at $323,113 vs $348,670 last year.
